Punakha Festival Tour is unique among all festivals of Bhutan. In Bhutan, every district undergoes Tsechu(Festival) annually on the 10th day of the lunar calendar of the Bhutanese calendar. Tsechu is a gathering of people from villages to celebrate religious gatherings with a colorful dress. People watch sacred dances or receiving ’empowerment’ from a lama. The mask dances got the symbolic meaning of each mask dance. People get a blessing on the final day of the festival.
The 10 Days Punakha festival tour covers three districts namely Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Trongsa, and Bumthang. It covers all the main districts of Bhutan. The place of the Festival will at Punakha Dzong courtyard, Punakha District( 3 hours car drive from Paro International Airport). The coming Festival date will be from 12th March 2022 till 14th Feb 2021. You will be staying in all Hotels 3-4 star categories approved by the Tourism Council of Bhutan. The upgrade is possible if the client wants to undergo it. You can enter from Bangkok, Singapore, Kolkotta (India), Delhi, Kathmandu, Dhaka, and Bagdogra (India).
