Bhutan Airlines or Tashi Air is owned by the Tashi Group of Companies. Bhutan Airlines entered the market to provide competition in the monopoly market. The first aircraft with 8 passengers operated on 4th December 2011. The first international flight of  Tashi Air operated to Bangkok from the Paro sector on 10th October 2013. Today two Airbus A319S with a sitting capacity of 126 passengers operate in different sectors.

Terminal 3, the counter allocation for airlines is displayed outside the entry gate and after the entry gate inside. Our counter opens 3 hours before departure time and closes 1 hour before departure time.

Druk Air Travel Tips:
Travellers are advised to carry passports at all times with a minimum of 6 months validity.

Indian Nationals travelling from Kathmandu to Delhi and vice versa can also travel with their original voter’s ID.

For Bhutanese citizenship ID card is also accepted. One must carry an original birth certificate for children and infants.

Passengers with connecting flights or onward journeys must have a minimum of 3 hours of transit time. Information on transit flights must be passed on to the staff at the embarking station so that the information is passed onto us.

Bhutan Flights from Bangalore

There are no direct Bhutan flights from Bangalore. Most of the tourists fly from Bangalore to Kolkata or Bagdogra and travel to Bhutan by Bhutan flights. From Bagdogra, you travel to Bhutan by rail and by car. Druk Air also flies from Bagdogra and Kolkata to Paro Bhutan.

Bhutan Flights from Dubai

There are no direct Bhutan flights from Dubai. It is better to get flights to New Delhi or Kathmandu from Dubai and get connecting flights to Bhutan. Druk Air has set to fly directly from Paro to Tokyo and Dubai by September 2020 but due to the pandemic and yet to finalize the plan.
