Paro Sightseeing places will be the first sightseeing places to see in Paro. Paro is the only international airport and only Bhutan flights operate. No international flights operate but international can get clearance from civil aviation of Bhutan. Bhutan Airlines or Tashi Airlines and Druk Air fly in and out of Paro.

Bumdra Hike
The trek will take a minimum of 3 days and an overnight halt in the camp. You got set up tents and facilities already there. But If you want to return the same day it will be hectic and tough.
Zuri Hike
Zuri hike is famous for its stunning panoramic view of the entire Paro Valley. The Zuri hike is to reach Zuri Dzong. It takes approximately 1.5 hours from National Museum. If you are staying in Uma Resort it takes an hour to reach. It’s a leisure hike through the cypress and pine trees of Paro Valley. If you want further more hike from there you can also hike up north from Gonsaka Lhakhang or the Paro Taa Dzong. Zuri Dzong is an ancient fortress. It is considered one of the oldest fortresses, this ancient fortress dates back to 1352. Paro people consider the dzong as a local protector deity.
There are more hiking trails like Chumphu Ney Hike, Drakarpo Hike, Dzongdrakha Hike, Jele Dzong Hike, Sangchokhor Hike, Taktsang Monastery Hike.
Paro Taksang north of Paro. It is very near Drugyel’s ruined fortress. Guru Rimpoche flew and meditated in the cave. It is a sacred place for Buddhists.
Paro Rinpung Dzong is very near to Paro Town. It is below the National Museum of Bhutan. It is on the hilltop. Rinpung literally means ” Heap of Jewels”.
Paro Museum or National Museum Museum of Bhutan is located above the Paro Rinpung Dzong. It takes 15 minutes car drive from Paro Town.
Kyichu Lhakhang takes 15 minutes car drive from Paro Town. It is on the way towards Paro Taksang. It is one of the oldest Lhakhang builtt by Tibetan King Songtshen Gampo. Check out more..
